A Panorama of Arias contains a selection of arias from operas, operettas, and oratorical works of the 17th to 19th centuries in original language for those studying singing at beginner and intermediate levels. All arias have new, easy-to-play piano reductions, and some of them even include excerpts from recitatives. The sheet music comes with:

- professional audio recordings of the piano accompaniments and the orchestral accompaniments on authentic instruments

- audio recordings of native speakers reading the words of the arias

- literal translations of the words in English and Hungarian

- information on the works

A Panorama of Arias consists of four books:

1. Opera and Operatta for Female Voice (print edition: Z. 20109, digital: 20109DK)

2. Opera and Operatta for Male Voice (Z. 20110, 20110DK)

3. Oratorical Works for Female Voice (Z. 20114, 20114DK, in preparation)

4. Oratorical Works for Male Voice (Z. 20115, 20115DK, in preparation)

Each book is available both in printed and digital version. Audio recordings and information on the works are included in the digital edition only, freely accessible with the unique code to be found in the print edition, but also available separately.

Dr. Katalin Hegedüs-Gönczy is repetiteur at the Pál Járdányi School of Music in Budapest and editor of the sheet music series A Panorama of Songs.
